THE U.C. CORE TEAM

I am glad to announce that on 13.8.2020, Harj Sohal, Michiel Mulder and Ralph Lubich have been nominated as Urban Combatives most Senior Instructors.
This is the result of long and dedicated work and a sincere commitment to UC. Congratulations to you, guys!
Together with Jamie Miller, UC Senior Instructor and UK head, these gentlemen form the UC Core Team. The Core Team members are available for national & international seminars, support of local schools and study groups as well as for grading of individuals in the full UC curriculum.

CARLOS HERMANOS

Carlos Hermanos is a method of stick and knife fighting that was developed by the brothers Sixto and Baste Carlos. Both are certified instructors in four of the major styles of Filipino Martial Arts (FMA): Lameco, De Campo, Kalis Ilustrisimo, and Pikiti Tirsia. The Carlos brothers pressure tested all the techniques they had acquired over the years, through sparring and various combat drills, constantly throwing out the flashy and ineffective moves, and what they came up with is a condensed, highly offensive, and highly effective system of not more than 10-12 moves, which makes it quite easy to learn.The curriculum is a short one, but a lot of emphasis is placed on the fundamentals techniques, as well as the attributes of form, speed, and power
